“ たぶん、言語処理の外にいる人々にとっては、「形態素解析 (morphorogical analysis)」という言葉は エキゾチックに聞こえるのだろう。しかしはっきりいってこんなのは「web2.0」と同じようなもんである。 各人が主観で「形態素」って呼びたいものを勝手にそう呼んでるダケなんだから、 おそろしく前近代的・オカルト的だ。もし化学で、たとえば各研究者が「原子」というものを 勝手に主観で定義してたらどうなる? 笑えるよね。しかし自然言語処理ではそれが普通なのだ。
